I'm thinking of getting the coil fitted until I'm sterilised. It's just the though of having it fitted while AF is here turns my stomach. I may go on the pill for a month before hand.

awful thing i got pid while having it and it left me in absolute agony and then it came back a month after id finished the anti-b's could have left me with no fertility!!

Anyway does that mean ul be reusing the bed??

Well I've told Steve if he wants more I have to be on at least 2 forms of contraception (that is if I'm not already up the duff).
I had a coil many moons ago, never had any probs with it tbh. I had it removed when we decided to have Eve, about 2 months after we got together.

I did not get on with the coil, tried 3 different ones and bled constantly until they were removed

i *think* it was the mirena. I loved it tbh. Steve doesn't want to use anything (being Catholic) but he doesn't want anymore. I've told him yes yes yes, more more more with the lights on!!

TBH I can't be arsed with stuff like coils (don't like that thought duuno why) - microgynon gave me horrendous morning sickness and DH (and me tbh) has an aversion to condoms - think for me it's memories of putting them on carrots at youth club lol

Steve won't use condoms and I never remember to take the pill, although now I'm on regular meds I might actually remember so that's an option.

*If* my period comes next week I shall get the pill as a stop gap.

Micrgynon - fell preg with ebs on it!

Apparently if you are over 25 or married then you have to pay here. My friend had to take it a week before her hubby had the snip.
